Celebrating the 10th year of establishment, Richa Foundation successfully co organized the breast and cervical cancer awareness and screening program with Jhor Mahankhal Youth Club which was supported by Cancer Care Nepal, SET Club, St. Xaviers College & Triveni sadan english school. The technical support was provided by National Cancer Hospital and Research Center. The program observed the participation of 101 ladies. The program was also addressed by the vice mayor of Tokha. Richa Bajimaya Memorial Foundation is a Non Profit Organization established in the year 2007 as a tribute to Late Ms. Richa Bajimaya born on 28th October 1984, who left us all with a heavy heart on 25th March 2007, fighting till the very end with cancer (Ewing’s Sarcoma – cancer found in bone or soft tissues like tendons, ligaments etc.).
To create an enabling environment for a cancer conscious society and to extend support towards holistic cancer care through community awareness, action research, knowledge-based advocacy, quality service and effective collaboration.
